The 40-Year Journey

Just as God promised, the Israelites had to wander in the wilderness for 40 years. During those years, many new Israelite children were born, and the older people who had not trusted God died. By the time Israel's 40-year journey came to an end, all the people had been replaced. Only Joshua and Caleb were allowed to survive because they had trusted God.
