Gideon's 300 Men
Judges 6-7
After Joshua died, the people of Israel forgot about God and sinned
against Him. So God sent some enemies to hurt the Israelites and
take their land away.
The Israelites became afraid and prayed to God. "Please help
us!" they cried.
God chose a man named Gideon to bring together an army to get rid
of Israel's enemies. Gideon gathered thousands of men for his army,
but God said that was too many. "Take the men to some water
and watch how they drink. Only those who use their hands to bring
water to their lips are to help with the battle."
After that, Gideon had only 300 men left. How could 300 men possibly
beat the huge enemy army? But God was with the Israelites! When
Gideon and his men snuck up on the enemy camp with their torches
and trumpets, the enemy soldiers became so frightened they ran away!
Once again, God protected the people of Israel and kept them safe.
Can you go through the maze and help Gideon find exactly 300 men? |
