As you read the stories, notice the way Jesus' messages before his ascension strengthen the disciples' determination to wait for Pentecost. Then, they are so moved by the Holy Spirit that they realize nothing can interfere with their desire to share what they know of the Christ. Also we'll look at Hannah's deep desire to become a mother and at her son, Samuel's, ability to speak with God.
