Have you listened to the new story-telling section of BibleWise?
I have. I just love hearing Hannah tell about her son, Samuel.
God certainly answered Hannah's prayer.
I don't think it was easy for Hannah to give her son to God and let him live in the tabernacle.
It sure seems Samuel was right at home serving God.
I liked how Samuel thought he heard Eli calling him and then he discovered it was God calling his name.
What Eli told Samuel to say if he heard God call him again is good for us all to practice everyday.
Samuel was to say, "Speak Lord, I am listening." Can you say that?
Speak Lord, I am listening. I like that! It's the great lesson we can learn from Samuel. Be willing to let God speak.
And it's our job to listen.
