October is the season for crisp weather, autumn leaves and walking in the woods. Our inspirational bulletin board reflects that look. It also reflects the biblical idea of being an inspiration to others by living a godly life. The title of the board is from Proverbs 4:18 - "The Path of the Just is as the Shining Light." Most of the illustrations come from calendars, and depict paths or roads through colorful autumn trees. But they can also come from the internet. I did a search using words such as "autumn trees" "path" and "woods". I found 12 beautiful pictures in one afternoon. Other pictures can include people walking together. I have also cut out pictures of autumn leaves and placed them across the bottom of the board. I suppose you could also place real leaves on your board if you have access to colorful autumn leaves. If you have ways to duplicate small leaves you could even glue them back to back with a monofilament line between them. These could be hung from the ceiling in front of the board to give it depth and movement. I prefer the color yellow as picture borders and lettering background. I use yellow lettering on dark background for the title.

The illustrations have captions from the Bible. You may choose from these for find your own.
