How Are Your Attitudes? Galatians 5:22-23

Would you rather be around a joyful person or an angry person? Would you rather have a friend who is kind or who is mean?

It's always nice to be with a friend who is patient, good, and faithful. It hurts when someone is bad to us or breaks up a friendship.

How can we be the right kind of friend to other people, including our own brothers and sisters, and our parents? By having the right attitudes. These attitudes are listed for us in Galatians 5:22-23: "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."

Do you know why these attitudes are called "the fruit of the Spirit"? Because the Holy Spirit helps to grow them in our hearts!

Can you find your way to all the fruit of the Spirit?
