Nebuchadnezzar's Giant Statue
Daniel 3

Long after King David and Solomon died, the people of Israel had become so wicked God warned they would be taken into captivity by their enemies. However, the Israelites did not listen to God. So the Lord sent the Babylonian army to Israel, and many of the Israelites were taken back to Babylon to become servants and slaves. Daniel and his three friends, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, were all taken to Babylon.

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon decided to build a giant statue made of gold. He then asked all the people to bow down and worship it. Everyone bowed down before the statue, but Daniel's three friends did not. King Nebuchadnezzar became angry, and had the three friends thrown into a hot, fiery furnace.

But God protected Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. When Nebuchadnezzar saw that the three young men were not burned, he set them free and said, "The God of Israel is the greatest God of all!"

Can you find your way through the crowd of bowing people to get to the three friends?
