The Gospel of Matthew

The Book of Matthew is the first of the 4 gospels in the New Testament and focuses largely on Jesus' life as a fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy. The Sermon on the Mount is a highlight of this gospel account. The author of Matthew is still an open question, but the message of this gospel is rock solid: to understand Jesus' words or ministry as explained in five different discourses or sermons.
