Categories: Health When I was 4 years old, I was walking around my house barefoot. My mom told me that there was a bunny in the backyard. I went to the door to see it, and stepped on a bee that was in a shadow. The bee stung me on my right foot. I started screaming because it hurt so much. Then, I started to pray!
My grandma scooped me up in her arms. I felt like I was in God's arms when she told me, "All is well. God does not hurt anything or anyone." I remember that we talked about some hymns that I was learning in Sunday School with words like, "heaven and nature sing," which meant that all of God's creatures live together in harmony, which means peacefully. In another hymn, "O dreamer, leave thy dreams for joyful waking," I changed it to walking.
Then I remembered a story about Jesus from Sunday School. (Luke 7: 22) "He said, 'Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk,'...." Quickly my foot felt perfect and I was able to walk without any hurt at all.
P.S. Thank you for having a kid's place that I can find on my grandpa's computer. |
