When I got home, I was really red. It hurt. My grandma told me not to think about it as being burned, but sun-kissed. She took out her Bible and read
"The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night." (Ps 121:5, 6)
I thought it was funny to think of getting moon burned. The moon is reflected light. I reflect light too. I chose to trust God to be my keeper. I went to bed and slept all night. In the morning, I had a tan. I didn't blister or peel. |
